How to boost sales and brand image in Japan? A safe marketing will follow "character nation" through its acceptable and popular path: Idols + Miku + new manga/anime (preferably together) + Tokyu Hands (so-called HANDS recently) and, as the Kinks used to sing - a Sunny Afternoon. Idols, Hatsune Miku and/or monsters are the key to the break the ice. I actually had to wait in line to take a photo in a shop that was over-crowded with shoppers (and yes, finally carrying some bags). It might be only the key but it's a good key for every door. Once you know how to open the gate and cross into the other side, it's up to you to keep it open. #japaneseculture #anime #manga #designthinking #marketing #idols #virtualidols #brandawareness

If you are wondering what the next generation of #gamegraphics will look like, please take a look at this trailer. Black Myth: Wukong is one of the first games to be using Epic Games' Unreal Engine 5 to build the game. From what we can see, the results are amazing. Also, another reason I am excited about this game is that it explores myths from other cultures, telling new stories in games. That is something we definitely need. Games have been underutilized as a form of cultural preservation. While I don't know how accurate and culturally sensitive the narrative of this game will be, I can't wait to play it and learn more. It seems that the game studio is putting greater care into this. Lastly, the quality and cinematography, from what we can see in the trailer, are better than many CGI shots from movies. While many people still don't take games seriously, my personal opinion is that games will surpass movies and TV shows as the gold standard for storytelling. With branching deeper narratives and beautifully crafted worlds, games will dominate the future of entertainment. Or most likely, the two will start to merge...but that is already happening. #gamesarerelevant #gamedevelopment #gameengine https://lnkd.in/g7n-KYKQ
